Doug may be the bringer of bad news, and have motives that you mention, but he is right about the testing of $27 being very serious. I'm now more concerned about the technicals than the fundamentals. You can't fight the ticker, and the stock is technically broken. The 200 day average has been breached, and that bodes poorly for the direction of the price. I can't help saying that Newbridge have had more chances than a blind cat, and they always end up missing expectations. CSCO makes good money and earnings year after year. Why not Newbridge?

Z.O: I do trade when opportunities arise. However, to do that, I must establish where a stock is headed and determine a rationale for such actions. How else can one do it.?

Unfortunatley , NN because of its poor earnings consistency, has become even more volatile and even less favorable to a pure BUY and HOLD strategy.

Surely, you do not expect me to hype/post positive comments when NN goes down on a continuos decline. In such situations, one needs to establish the reasons and re-adjust ones valuations/hedging strategies. In fact, because of the euphoric certainty of NN's performance as expressed by many on this Board, my downside hedging was much too high leaving me exposed.

A stock drops only when the Market sentiment is against it. That sentiment when particularized is primarily determined by performance; a factor controlled by the Company and not the trader or Bulletin Board.
