It is now a waiting game. ARP has money to spend on drilling to upgrade the property. ABX can wait, if another bidder comes along, ABX is in the driver's seat with 40% of the property and a mine next door. ABX can afford to wait and up anyone else's bid, assuming one comes along. Otherwise, in May when the current drilling program is stopped by winter, or lack of funding, ABX can go back to ARP management with a higher bid.
Not to say that this isn't a good hold.
