bgr, our equipment isn't obsolete. it isn't y2k compliant. our equipment is more modern, in many cases a lot more modern, than many of our competitors and in other electronic industries. these issues need to be addressed. it takes real money to fix them and they aren't fixed yet - and i work in an extremely leading edge company - one of the most advanced in electronics mfrg. the avg company in this industry has a lot more y2k problems than where is work. your comment that y2k money has already been spent is erroneous. very much erroneous. i'm just giving an example why. there are many others.
