You're right, I just tried to point out stress points.

If GM gets 24 ports per PC on NT, I think it would be good.
Failover plans may help. If someone else handles the inbound lines, OK, but more expenses.

Let me know if you can get them to tell you about where Portico would run, at GM or at the reseller site.
I have an inquiry in about 'value added software' to Portico, no response--that would be important as the needs of the resellers and their customers vary.

This leads to the eyeballs--software/functions that they get.
And back to OS, Development Tools, Skills and ability to support either complimentary or not to Portico.

Portico development skills stop at GM, a rollout of standards and tools takes time--but then again if you are only interested in stock price, announcements mean a lot more.
