''You know what I think about the stock market. I am bullish long-term,''Acampora told the Managed Funds Association Conference here. ''I told everybody I think the Dow has a primary target of 9,800 this year and perhaps more, of about maybe 11,500 by the end of the year.''

Too much, too little , too late in the day!

These guys are gems, aren't they Mohan? I guess it's easy to tell which way the wind will blow by the direction the analysts face.

11 minutes left, do you think Dell will make up 5-6 points in that span ;-)

Better day ahead!

Mo- Although I share your general opinion about guys like Acampora, he has not changed his position on the market over the past couple weeks...it's just that its getting out in the press now...he has been calling for a brief correction and then Dow 9800-11500 for most of the year...It is not a new call (or reversal)..

Just trying to be fair to these guys (since we hammer them so much..)
