IBCO another from my small float list hot today on buyout rumor from Pittsburg brewing (in yahoo bb:
word is that IBCO may be once again close to a merger with Pittsburgh Brewing Co., the 8th largest brewery in the U.S.
Strangely, Monday's late stock activity coincided with the departure of PBC's CEO.....Hmmmmmmm. Just for giggles, I dug an old 9/22/98 article. Pay attention to the last three sentences.

September 22, 1998
Merger talks end at Pittsburgh Brewing
Merger negotiations between Pittsburgh Brewing Co. and Philadelphia-based Independence Brewing Co. have ceased. The parties had been unable to reach agreements on key matters, including the timing of a merger, said Robert Connor Jr., president of Independence. The company said it might resume merger talks at a later date. The merger would have allowed both breweries to up their production. It would also have allowed Pittsburgh to go public, making it easier for the Lawrenceville-based brewery to make acquisitions
