I agree with your jurisdictional anaysis. Pfizer can be sued anywhere they distribute their product. No opinion on the rest.

I would not be so sure about lack of causality. This may be why Vivus execs are buying. Could they know something that the general public does not? Remember, Vivus considered systemic PDE5 inhibitors at first, but then discarded the idea as being to dangerous.
