Confusion, some say, is the previous stage to enlightenment. But I am willing to bet that by summer this will all be forgotten (and there will be more recent market downturns to watch). :-)

The only reason this is better than sports handicapping is that the game never ends, you can switch your bet from one team to the other at any time during the contest for as long as you wish, and the people who make the spreads (ie, the 'analysts') are not eerily correct 90% of the time.

Okay so that was more than one.
