I can't imagine that there are many left who believe MS will win in this round. Still, though, announcement of a loss will lead to a period of uncertainty that would probably depress the stock. I'm not positive, but I believe the verdict would be announced before any remedies are proposed, so folks would be guessing for a few days even if an appeal is guaranteed. It sure does look like the split and the verdict might going to come along at about the same time.

IMHO--A DOJ victory is already priced into the stock along with the remedies the judge would order. In addition, a reversal at the appeal court level is also factored in (assuming MSFT wants to appeal--which I am not sure that would be necessary if all that is required is to make a few concessions).
