I may have interpreted the following part of their news release incorrectly, but I thought all mined ore also provided a royalty that is split between Pan Am and Oroperu. However, on re-reading the release, it seems ambiguous to me.

Here is that portion of the news release.

>>
Pan American Silver and Oroperu Resources will retain jointly a royalty on all gold ounces discovered after a production decision and recovered in mining ranging from 2.0 to 4 per cent of net smelter returns depending on the prevailing gold price and on whether the ounces are heap leach recoverable or non-heap leach recoverable.

rjbac,

I've been reading through the last few dozen posts on OROP and it appears that you felt the same way that I do about this company. I've just received all of the information available from their Investor Relations department and I am very impressed with what Mr. Livingstone has been able to do with this company during a time of complete devastation for most junior mining companies.

They are keeping alive but they don't have the money at this time to list on the TSE, and this will become even more difficult with the new regulations. However, with metal prices moving up their financing could come soon and that would mean that the drilling program on what looks like a very exciting property could start and production could increase to 800TPD which definitely establishes this little company as a producer.

Do you still follow this stock?

best regards, spinner
