Allen, No need to apologize, there is not always good or bad news to discuss. Thus the digression into Rocky-tock's idiocy is a regular event, even if we try to avoid it. It's entertainment and not every thread can boast of such a dumb fool that he keeps coming back to get guffaws for his silly words. No one ever need take him seriously, even if he is being paid by Sony or Imation or someone else for his trouble or if he is just stroking himself, in a perverse way, by this activity.

Interesting point about Imation. My Sunday paper Circuit City supplement had a one page Imation promo in the inside, wherein they were practically giving away their drives. Don't remember the details, but in one feature there was a $100 rebate reducing the cost of an internal Imation superdisk drive to $29. That is hardly more than the cost of a floppy drive. I also note that I bought a internal Atapi Zip from Buycomp.com a few months ago for $42. If IOM can sell drives at this cost, there has got to be a hell of a revenue benefit to OEMs that include them such that they get an extra $100 from the customer for it. That kind of incentive will drive sales like crazy. I am not worried. A few more months of bullship until we see some results.
