AOL and YHOO remain....

In a previous article from CBS Marketwatch it was mentioned that NBC was looking into a major internet venture with one of the three major portals AOL, YHOO, or LCOS.

Today, USA networks merged with LCOS. So, we can all assume LCOS is out of the NBC run.

Today, AOL announced a major multi-year multi-million e-commerce deal with C-NET. C-NET has a joint venture interest with NBC and its SNAP.COM portal. It looks interesting that NBC's partner C-NET is joining forces with AOL networks.

Could this be the first of more news to come from AOL and NBC's interests in the net. NBC's recent loss of a LCOS deal only preps an AOL move further. GE's NBC networks are now looking at AOL or YAHOO for a pure internet play in media, e-commerce, and broadcast.

Just days away from serious turnaround to the upside.
