Michael: Pump and dump, as discussed previously. What ticks me off is the complete lack of supporting data behind these flights of fancy. Let a bear suggest that a stock is over-valued, and he runs the risk of being sued for a single sentence that is not backed up or receives nasty midnight phone calls. But a bullish analyst can paint in technicolour and doesn't need to provide squat in support of his star gazing. Having heard the highlights of Michael's dissertation, I'm even more inclined to own puts before his numbers are reported. This was a man choosing his words as carefully as someone negotiating a minefield. A different person from last January. Anything less than perfection and craters will appear next week. Best, Earlie.
