bgg, Good posts! I pretty much agree with you. Coms is a little bit too far out at the edge where margins are lowest and mistakes are most painful if the direction isn't always correct. If 3Com doesn't make the quarter I will sell my holdings because it will get murdered! They have had long enough to get their act together. I know this company inside and out and have owned it off and on for years. For this company to succeed they need to smooth out the earnings... The street just hates uneven earnings, I can't emphasize that enough. Coms is at a major turning point and excuses will no longer be tolerated. It's sad that I have to say this. There is a lot of potential in this company but that just isn't good enough for the street. Eric
