D-Man, I wasn't able to find the article you're referring to, but I did read a very good one in today's edition: Internet Reverse Spread Strategy - Traders Are Better Served Focusing on Volatility I'm sure most will appreciate this excerpt from the above article: "Critics -- and there are many -- contend that when you discount earnings too far into the future, there is no longer any certainty as to what is actually being discounted.
