Did BG say that at the Univ of Wash, where he was giving a "talk" with Warren Buffet? The portion that I recall was that he also indicated that he thought that Coke should have a higher PE than Microsoft, primarily because of the characteristic you cite.

Yeh, I saw that interview. He also said that technology stocks are inherently more unstable and so should trade at a discount to other stocks, not a premium...
