Looks like MTLC is ready to rumble. Lots of large block buys today.
I'd bet somebody knows something...

Could this have something to do with it?
"The Company will attend a hearing set April 22, 1999 in Washington
before a Nasdaq-Amex Market Group panel to present its proposal for
regaining compliance with Nasdaq listing requirements. The Company
believes it will be successful, however, no assurances can be given."

People on the Yahoo thread are discussing rumors that MTLC is about to perform a reverse merger with an internet company. Although like everything on Yahoo it needs to be taken with a gigantic grain of salt, it certainly matches the trading signatures we've been seeing the last couple of days... bag the Elephant! :-)

For an example of what can happen in these kinds of situations, look at PWEB... it was formed through a reverse merger with a defunct asphalt company (AHAS) which stopped trading at 0.50 right before the announcement. When trading resumed, it was at $20, and quickly settled in the a range around $10 where it has been pretty stable now for several months. Hopefully this is what we are seeing here, wich would mean a good 10 bagger anyway. Personally I've never seen much better than a double and I'd love to change that... ;-)
