<<I'm sorta looking for various stocks to hit their 50 day moving average>>
50 DMA is more of a benchmark for slower moving more "stable" issues.
(Pharmas are often cited when referring to 50 DMA).
DELL most closely "follows" its' 13 DMA (WHERE IT SITS RIGHT NOW)
MSFT, CSCO JUST broke their 13 DMA within the past few days w MSFT hanging right at it.
DELL is resting right on it.
right now the 13 is well ahead of the 50 and a good signal is a the 13 crossing above the 50 from a selloff.
right now the 50 DMA lays way back at 78 7/8.
the break from the 60s brought it back to consolidate and hug the 13 in the mid 70s, again some tight following in the 80 range since 85 DELL has screamed way ahead of the avg. Friday and Today saw DELL come down to but not violate the 13.
