What do you thinking about LUMM. For me this stock is a good prospect for your index. Please give me your opinion about LUMM ( eps for
2000 are 2.35 $ per share with sales 475 M expected by Company insiders )

LUMENON INNOVATIVE LIGHTWAVE (OTC-BB-LUMM): STOCK OF THE
WEEK!

Lumenon Innovative Lightwave (OTC-BB-LUMM-.93) is virtually unheard
of by the investment community. One of our sources tells us that the
heavier than usual volume that has occurred in recent days is mostly
family and friends of the company and others who want to participate in an expected massive stock price appreciation in the short term. One
well-placed source tells us that a huge financing deal is in the works, possibly involving the purchase of LUMM shares for $3 per share. If this is true, it is expected to happen before the 19th of February. If insiders and people in the "know" are accumulating we thought this would be a good opportunity for us to get in. We purchased shares on the open market this past week so that we could be in position to profit.

Technical analysts would call the latest LUMM chart formation a classic 1-2-3 bottom. This is where a stock price gets hammered (point #1 on the chart), starts to rise (Point #2), pulls back but not as far as the low (point #3), and then moves up again, this time past point #2. The positive volume index (PVI is where a trend line is plotted showing that a stock price is rising as volume increases) also suggests that something is underway. Keep in mind these are only guidelines, not guarantees. Technical analysis does have false signals. But good technical analysts say that their techniques work 70% of the time.

Lumenon specializes in a revolutionary kind of Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) component in the form of a compact photonic chip on silicon. Indeed, the Company has created a new platform technology for a broad range of innovative integrated optics components that allow it to sell into a variety of applications. These include long-haul and short-haul telecommunications, desktop local area networks (LANs), multimedia LAN, Intelligent Home Network, as well as fiber channel.

Lumenon was founded in Montreal in 1998 by two scientists, Dr. S. Iraj
Najafi and Dr. Mark P. Andrews. The Company was created to capitalize
on their widely publicized innovations in compact integrated optical
circuit design and glassy materials for integrated optics. (News Breaks: Opto-Laser Europe, February, 1997; Laser Focus World, August, 1997; and Optoelectronics Reports (SPIE), November, 1997.).

The world is experiencing a broad band communications revolution.
Unprecedented traffic on optical networks has vaulted optical fiber into a position as a pervasive technology in the global economy. The optical fiber backbone of today's telephony networks is now crucial to the burgeoning Internet and expansion in commercial local-area and
wide-area networks. Requirements for additional wired and wireless
access lines to handle this expansion have exploded. Because of this
growth, optical fiber - once viewed as having an overabundance of
bandwidth - is now increasingly burdened and unable to carry the rising tide of traffic.

All of this has left communications service providers hungry for
bandwidth. As a result major carriers are now focusing on Dense
Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) as the bandwidth solution that
allows them to increase fiber capacity and plan for explosive growth
without laying down a single additional fiber.

Lumenon will be a major force in the large-scale production of a new and revolutionary class of high performance and cost-effective integrated optics components for the DWDM market.

Our short term target is $5 or higher. Longer term $16 to $18. More
information is available at lumenon.com.

Thanks in advance

SW et al,
Been in and out of BEAR several times during the last couple of weeks. Fairly easy pickin's! Thinking it was a Valentine's Day play, I mainly just watched the charts, vol., and graphs. Got to looking a little closer and these folks are gearing up for year round supply, and after all, what time of the year isn't it good to get a teddy bear.
A recent release had these two paragraphs in it that impressed me: Just think: a personalized teddy bear, dressed to commemorate your special occassion, delivered the next day, and guaranteed for life! Hmmmm?
The Vermont Teddy Bear Company(R) is the largest manufacturer of Teddy
Bears in North America, making more than 250,000 bears annually at its
Shelburne, Vermont factory and selling them out of its factory store or
via its Bear-Gram(R) delivery service. To place a Bear-Gram(R) order,
customers call 1-800-829-BEAR or log on to the Company's popular site
www.VermontTeddyBear.com, choose a bear and personalize it to suit a
special life event, occasion or holiday.

Every Bear-Gram(R) delivery comes with a customized Vermont Teddy

B'Air bag filled with fresh Vermont air, all packaged in a colorful
gift box complete with Airhole. Each Vermont Teddy bear is guaranteed
for life and the Company provides optional next day delivery for all

Mer Telemanagement (MTSLF) - was one of mine that you researched - but rejected - anyway...

- Please keep in mind I'm still holding ALU; anyway...

- MTSLF was #1 Gainer on NASDAQ today - Closed @ 2 7/8; on 1 mill+ shares; gain of 1 9/16 (119%)

- they announced a deal with Lucent (LU)

- earnings release next week; this is an internet company; with 6 straight years of profits going in to '98; and I'm hoping for a tremendous run up
