CH. part two first. For current cds/what ever, you can simply buy the RIO or the mpeg car setup or one of the followups to the RIO, there will be some, this war isn't over yet. The protection scheme cannot prevent the material from being copied, or you couldn't upload it to the portable device. I read somewhere that it might control the number of copies though. It also encompasses a watermarking scheme so they can track the music. Won't be able to use the PAC music on the RIO, don't know if will be able to use MP3 on the PAC device. Any corrections welcome.
