Ten,

Do you think Intel is wasting millions and millions of dollars into a technology which will ultimately prove to be a detriment to performance?

If you read through my messages over the last 6 months, you will see that I have remarked many times that the Intel/Rambus relationship offered little value to Intel's customers.

Ten.. AMd is producing chip that deliver superior grapics. In the race for the eyeball market inhanced graphics are an important selling feature. Particularly for the internet. When it comes to marketing text is boring(eggheads)audio is better..digital dolby sourround sound...but the undisputed champion is video. That why a good picture is worth at least a thousand words. Right now AMd is offering the best alternative to the best video. sanders ledges that AMD is hard@work at producing chips to deliver theater quality audio visual. 3Dnow will be used to differienciate AMD from Intel. right now with d3now AMd can price to parity with Intel. Tims ahve changed and so have market shares. Intel will find it hard going to reverse AMd progress, provided AMd keeps making chips. with the recent 5.5million in production AMd is taking care of business. for Intel it's a Silicon Valley nightmare in technicolor.
