I'm generally happy with MBT, but their response to glitches like this is always - "the problem is your ISP" - and that just drives me bananas.

The reason it drives me bananas is very simply that one day I decided to run a test. I have ABWatley on a 28.8k modem on a Pentium 150 laptop, and I entered ABW while I was having major problems with MBT. (My MBT RT is on a 56k on a Pentium II). ABW ran smooth as silk on another Mindspring account while MBT was telling me the problem was with my ISP! What's the constant, what's the variable?

Today my system stopped inexplicably. I didn't bother phoning because they would have told me again the problem was with my ISP.

The problem finally solved itself when I switched servers. Their servers, not the ISP's.

It's a pity because I like MBT, but it's not smart of them to turn a blind eye to a problem and attempt to shift responsibility on to a customer's ISP when the problem is clearly with capacity on their servers, not the customer's ISP.

BTW, I've found that the "incorrect fields" problem can usually be solved by inputting the price manually.

But what the heck - they're so much better than the so-called online brokers that there's no comparison.
