It is the brand name in PCs. Just look at MSFT and INTEL earnings and you will figure out that Dell is a big reason behind their blow out quarters. Leads me to conclude Dell will have a blow out quarter as well.

LT,

The fundamentals do not have to scream, whispering will be enough for me - or so I believe. If I do not understand the fundamentals of a company well enough to hear such whispers, then of course I deserve to lose my capital.

Let's be honest. Things are getting better every day for the stock. IBM and HP are faltering and CPQ is shooting itself in the feet. Internet is booming, thus demand for servers and storage in heating up big time and DELL is making major inroads into that nascent market which has traditionally been mainframe/Unix oriented. Linux is getting accepted in the corporate domain and DELL is there too. New markets like China is opening up and that is plain huge. India remains to be explored. To top it off, the U.S. economy is showing exceptionally strong growth, Euroland has come out of the earlier slump of the 90's, and S.E. Asia is turning as well.

Things never looked better IMHO. Would like to know your contrarian views.
