in my opinion which may be SKEWED, WARPED, and/or WRONG ...

IBM does look like a good buying opp. to me too... i can see no real fundamental obstacles that will throw IBM off its long term growth strategy right now...

also ... consider these two points which were concocted by me...

1) the dollar is strong vs. yen and other asian currencies...

a) asian co's not buying as much...

b) what is BOT overseas does not turn into much usd... as IBM does not hedge currencies...

2) IBM usually does plummet down after a strong rise up... for me it is not a new occurrance...

a) in my opinion it would be a buying opportunity...

b) there may be alot of stop losses that might have been taken out be large traders or other equity interests of IBM...
i) in part due to the earnings release frenzy
ii) also the stock split speculation...

all of this may have no relevance at all... but...there might have been alot of speculation in IBM... as a result... alot of SELLing...

maybe overdone... but in my opinion for the long term IBM investor... this is just a time to either chill or to buy more...

in closing let me leave this one word of WARNING !... IBM's p/e is now kinda high in regard to its former multiples...

so .... invest with caution...
