Is this true? I thought somebody said there was a shortage of chips on the spot market because of the LG Semicon strike? Wouldn't that make the price go higher?

The chips on the "Major Brands 64Mb PC100 Sdram Dimm" being sold by this retailer are "SMT". I've seen a lot of DIMMs, but have not seen an "SMT" labeled chip. Does anyone know what brand that is or who makes them?
