Hi Diamonds Are Forever:

I agree the key for both DMW and REX is SL. Both sides in Angola have too much money to fight on, but the threat of oil shutoff will pull big brother U.S. in if UNITA disrupts the oil flow. Of course if they grab the wells and make a deal with the U.S. perhaps the future will be brighter with a change of government. The world is a small place, and if you want power you must make deals with the money men.

Back to SL. These appear to be the richer mines for DMW and REX. The British are off the coast. The Nigerians are threatening to pull out. The rebels seem to be too small in number to change the government, and the government is feeling the pressure to talk to the rebels. I sense that a sit down and chew the fat may be coming in SL ,as the major backers of both sides may have common interests to end this war.

Time will tell. DMW did say in their press release that the news was not negative. I like the positive upside potential for this stock. A lot of downside is in it. DMW and RXD will both benefit greatly if a settlement is negotiated. If the really radical elements of the rebel side are wiped out, which is what appears to be happening now, the moderates may be able to strike a power sharing deal with the government, given that the government has a lot of pressure on them to settle this, from the Nigerians and the British.

LOL to us all, and firstly to the people of Sierra Leone and Angola. The little people there are the real losers in these wars. God help them.
