It is intended for applications testing is free and is a nice backgrounder on the distinguishing features of the chips. It is also understandable for the non dsp engineer. On the bottom left corner of the web page click on dsp system calculator. Pretty cool stuff!

The Intel/Analog Devices deal to cooperate on developing the next-generation DSP core certainly caught EDTN Consulting Editor Henry Davis's attention. He thinks it's the biggest news in the DSP world for some time, and tells his reasons why.
