So much for trying to lurk around here... >>> I remember Rocky's words, although not verbatim I'm sure. He said something like, "There are many reasons why a company does a stock buyback, all of them bad.<<< I was there. I remember too. I do. I do. I do. I think it was right around the end of the Joel S. era. I'd go down to the archives and hunt around for it, but I sworn off such behavior in favor of having a bit more of a life. ok, now I really, really am going back to lurking.
