No need. They're already playing taps.

Zeev:

Very nice meeting you during my recent travels to Boston. I owe you a lunch in Alaska. If the rumors I hear are correct, I think management is orchestrating a set of moves that may allow Abacan to survive beyond the market's prediction of bankruptcy. However, my rumor mill is vague at best at this point. I'm not certain that buying a bunch of Abacan would be meritorious but I'm also not certain that the ship is doomed to sink. At current prices, it remains an "option" priced company. I strongly suspect that the new Board members are privy to some strategies that none of us know about. Again, time will tell.

Don't misread this message. I'm not a buyer today and am not encouraging anybody else to buy but recent events and rumors suggest to me that the 18th hole may not be as close as it appears. At the same time, staying on the fairway may take more than just balls in this game (did I really say that <ggggg>?). In any case, I'm going to keep my eyes on the Abacan saga. There is much to be learned by watching this scenario unfold further.
