TMCS..more on valuation ---------------------------------------------- As of Tuesday's close, Lycos (LCOS) and Ticketmaster Online CitySearch (TMCS) had a combined market cap of about $9.6 billion, about 165 percent of the market cap of all of USA Networks. Yet USA Networks will own 51 percent in the new company (not including its 60-plus percent stake in Ticketmaster Online CitySearch). Ticketmaster Online CitySearch holders, including USA Networks, get 19 percent and Lycos holders the other 30 percent. EOM--------------------------------------------------------------- Again if I'm reading this right..all of TMCS is equal to a 19% stake in the 'new' company... so pick a 'value' for the entire thing , take 19% of it and divide by 69.5 mm shares..
