Good Morning Sonny,

Yes indeed the economy is strong and healthy.
The debacle of stocks was most indeed a manipulation of fear especially with those that were heavy into margin and had to meet margin calls. The big companies reported good earnings and announced stock splits. Nothing was left and I think there was a fulfilling prophecy of a major sell of in the internet stocks. Unfortunately this brought down the house of cards and all that was around it including the big techs and other major companies. I was lucky to get out when I did but looking forward the prices of the stocks today will seem like bargains in the future as always. My experience even with a little margin made me hang on minute by minute. There was this obsession to always check on the stock market and I could not let go this feeling of being on edge. Some people are probably not bothered by this but I am and I am sure that if many other people were honest they would too admit the same. It is to each their own.

I do not have the same bad feeling about the market today as I did yesterday but I could be completely wrong again. There is one little problem about today that could be troublesome. Intel, Dell and Microsoft were trading lower in Europe this morning. I think we had the major blowout yesterday and may soon start to witness some calm, consolidation and upward momentum. We may see a little more selling first before the storm is over for sure. Many eyes will be focusing now on Dell and its earnings better be well or it will be sent to hell and the market with it.

Have a great day
Frank
