IMO Shorting is just identifing a Pumped stock, it does not cause that stock to be at that level. Somehow people are confusing the hype of Pumper and Dumpers with Shorters. People who pump a stock to levels are CAUSING investors to spend a too high of level for a share, a shorter just deals, with the bloated price, after it exists.

I have never lost money to a shorter, at least to rational arguement I can figure out.

I HAVE lost money but buying a pumped up stock only to see rational investors correct the valuation.

Now I go off to work to put a fax in the machine then turn around and come back home to sleep. I think I am having fun too!
