Hello Reg: I havent broke down the numbers, but just glancing at the
first results they look impressive. If you recall, that Diamet has to repay
to BHP the first 300mil in construction costs at Ekati, this could affect
earnings per share, havent really looked into it lately. The real money
was made in this issue before BHP stepped up to the plate and advanced 500mil to buy into the project.
Just as Rex is in a similiar situation, should multiple fields or pipes develop, this company will become a target for a major to have a stake in owning, especially those that are serious in the diamond business
Regards
George
