Tommaso: As much as we rant about the problems in the PC industry, for anybody who needs one now, the bargains are simply incredible. I'm old enough to remember when the hand-held calculator was "an incredible machine" at $149.95 The PC I'm using at the moment (a clone) cost more than double current prices and it was a fabulous bargain to my mind 18 months ago. Tommasso, re: the notebook purchase. Thats a great notebook. I bought a 2505 about 6 months ago for $1399 at BBY. All the features as that 2515 except smaller drive and a 233 Pentium. I like it but... If you can afford it, step up a little to get 64M of memory and a 13.3 TFT instead of the 12.1 non-TFT. These can be bought for under 2K now. I find the 32M in mine a bit sluggish at times with Netscape and any ohter app open at the same time. And the non-TFTs are a little tough to stare at for long periods of time. A friend here just bought a CPQ Presario with all these features for under 1900 on the net. The sound system on the Presario is also far superior than my Toshiba. Good luck on your purchase. Gary
