Mr. Wolff, A few points for clarification. . . .

First, if you read back re: short-sellers I make the distinction between "individual" short-sellers, which I have no problem with, whatsoever. . .and "organzized bands/gangs" that move with military precision for the purpose of manipulation. My disdain is for them. . .the descriptions they paint for themselves was disturbing while revealing. And I am not at all "objective" in my opinions.

Second, I realize there is a [for lack of a better term] ying and yang in the market. . .Buyers need sellers and sellers need buyers.
My point in the one post was that I believed the analysts were puppets of the companies they represent. . .that is why they made their predictions simultaneously. . .and I believe the companies they represent took short positions PRIOR to their analysts predictions. . .that is market manipulation.

Third, the fact that a certain "band" of organized shorts announced their move, then simultaneously attacked PRFM has never been disputed. . .in fact, there are many posts bragging about this attack by plenty of individual members of this gang. For clarity, I don't believe that short-sellers in general make up this dark side, but rather the ORGANIZED groups [some admitedly 500+ strong] that simultaneously attack for the purpose of manipulation leading to personal gain. Any gangster related remarks I make are aimed directly at the ORGANIZED gangs, of which there are MANY. . .and not just the several here on SI.

Fourth, I have also said that, should we see a MAJOR crash that leads to a MAJOR recession/depression. . .then I would turn the whole thread short [but never into a gang with simultaneous movement]. . .due to historical records that show that, in such ocurrances, the market bottom was not reached for TWO YEARS following such crashes.

Fifth, you make a good point regarding overvaluation of stocks ...often are "corrected" by shorts. I have no problem whatsoever with this and totally agree that it is GOOD to do so.

Sixth, you bring up an excellent point regarding Pump and Dumpers. I have likewise been ripped badly by many of these. And perhaps the next time I get up on a soapbox, I will rip into them. Fortunately, most of the worst offenders on SI have been "disappeared" and people are complaining to me of losing fortunes due to these short-seller attacks instead.

As for why I ceased posting during the PRFM episode; if you recall, each of my posts led the attacking gang in a rally. Every word was twisted to their favor and posted all over cyberspace for the world to read. Many posts didn't bother quoting anything. . .they just flat out lied. I felt the best thing to do for the benefit of those still in, was to stay silent in hopes this gang would get bored and leave....they never did. I will not argue. Any time I am being provoked into a reciprocal argument [which I was in a major way then], I ignore. This move was obviously the most prudent.

As I have said many times, if anyone is looking for me to say WHEN to buy or when to sell, they will be waiting forever. I disclosed my position in the posts I did make. So I did all that could be expected, all things considered. I am not being paid to be here.

Furthermore, you have no idea what was going on behind the scenes. SI was nothing compared to some other message boards in cyberspace. My privacy was violated, my identity was being misrepresented fraudulantly.

Admitted members of one of these gangs sent me personal threats and made public libelous posts. . .At one point, I was in fear of my address and phone number being posted in cyberspace where it NEVER can be retrieved. . . and where my family could have theoretically been put in harms way. . . all for the what? the FUN of it? Couldn't have just been for the profits. . .there are far better ways of making profits, so that wasn't the motive. No, this was not about trading. Trading is trading. . . win...lose....move on. Certain persons crossed the line.

I do not post my opinions throughout cyberspace. . .spamming whomever gets in the way. . .I post here. Those that stay here and read them, do so on their own accord. And those that don't like what I have to say. . go away.

Wolff ,

You took most of the words right out of my mouth. The group
Mr I's is upset with is no more organized than "his" group.
It's my impression or opinion that this group operates even
more secretly than the one he is currently obsessed with.
SAM selections , speaking in code for stocks to defeat
full text searches , etc etc etc. Gimme a break !

Didja see the one post from the teenage kid where he
urged folks to build things up instead of tear down ?

Sure , bid a stock up way beyond any rational valuation.
Great lesson , huh ?

These folks do some outstanding work over here and some
day they will learn as I did long ago , that "some" shorts are a
longs best friend.

Sure , there are fringe elements to any "group" that aren't
representative of the whole and I suspect that is more of the real problem here but everyone's entitled to an opinion
