mr mark or anyone, a virus question: my new PC came with McAfee Antivirus preinstalled. McAfee says one of the hundreds of files I download daily from Worden Brothers' TC2000 is infected and should be
destroyed. Another antivirus program - Norton's - finds nothing
wrong with the file. Whenever I download McAfee always identifies
the same file as being infected.

The data provider tells me not to worry.
McAfee sends an automated response that is unhelpful
and their web site is unaccessible right now.

Are false virus alarms frequent?
I posted this on the TC2000 thread weeks ago
and got no response, which tells me nobody is
affected or concerned.
