60,000 KIDS IN CALIFORNIA TO GET DIPPERS FOR LUNCH
Two New School Districts Add Dippers to their Menus

February 12, 1999 Anaheim, CA - Dippy Foods, Inc. (NASD OTC BB: DPPI) is pleased to announce that Bakersfield School District and the Oakland Unified School District are implementing pilot programs of Dippers meals into their school's monthly lunch menu rotation.
Bakersfield School District is the largest elementary school district in the state of California, responsible for serving more than 31,000 school children lunch daily. Bakersfield has ordered 100,000 Dippers to be provided in four monthly installments. The first order of 25,000 units has been delivered and was well received by the students and the schools. Bakersfield Assistant Food Service Director, Ms. Terry Fertney commented that “Pizza has always been the most popular meal in our cafeterias and the kids loved Dippers more than pizza. It has been a great addition to our menu and a lifesaver during emergencies such as power outages.”
Oakland Unified School District is the fifth largest school district in the state of California. Oakland has implemented a pilot program of 35,000 units to be rotated into their school's lunch menu in March. Mr. Rod Cox, Central and Northern California Sales Representative for Dippy Foods anticipates that this pilot program will be successful on many levels. “Oakland is looking for ways to reduce labor costs in the preparation and serving of lunches.” said Mr. Cox. “The multiple benefits of Dippers far exceed Oakland's expectations and could potentially become a regular monthly menu items in their cafeterias.”
Dippy Foods, Inc. produces and sells fresh, prepackaged, nutritious, single-serving meals to schools and other institutional food servers. Dippy Foods' product line called “Dippers”, address the concerns and issues facing the thousands of school districts supplying breakfasts and lunches to over 45 million children daily as part of the National School Breakfast and Lunch Program. Dippers require no preparation, refrigeration or heating. They are shelf stable for 60 days and come in four flavors including a nacho, cheese and salsa meal and three different flavored of fruit preserve, peanut butter and cinnamon sugar corn chip meals.
