lies and (more neutrally) untruths
In every campaign I have witnessed (going back to Johnson-Goldwater) each side publishes a pamphlet contained contradictory statements made by the other party. There is also the obligatory conclusion that the opponent is a liar.

How does Clinton saying he tried marijuana but didn't inhale (maybe he couphed) differ from Reagan's recollection about his days in the army?

There has been 6 1/2 years of ordinary events surrounding an extraordinary President with the only difference being the meaness, and malicious slander in which those events are described by the Radicals. I think the campaign to describe abortion in graphic terms has just become the norm for all descriptions the Radicals make about anything.
