OT- more Dell crap. >50% of US households have a PC. That's saturation. I agree, re: US, that wasn't my point. Servers & overseas are different, and if you knew Dell, you'd know that household sales are a small part of their revenues - business and govt. are where the $$ is. BTW, Mr. Dell stated yesterday that their experience shows that households who get broadband tend upgrade to a new PC w/in a year. I agree, that's a small part of their business, so that shouldn't get the attention it got in his speech yesterday. >lowering prices. Dell is the low cost producer of PC's, by far, vs. CPQ/IBM/HP. I work at IBM, and have some knowledge of this. >tariffs on imported goods. Dell has plants in Europe, China, and South America, their goods are not imported, they are locally built by "native" employees. >They take their production offshore to the third world while >ours will be bottled up by fairness. Don't see this protectionism? >You're blind. As stated above, YOU are the blind one, Dell's overseas sales are largely (or entirely) selling computers that are produced overseas already, not USA-built PC's. >You don't even believe in soul, since you are so devoted to >money. You seem unable to distinguish between: 1) my being an advocate of a particular stock, and 2) my supposed complete "devotion to money" They are not the same thing, and your presumption and arrogance are truly amazing. You most definately wrong. The only thing my money will "buy" (someday) is the ability to retire as early as possible, specifically in order to be able to spend as much time as possible with my wife and our children. You have no idea how LITTLE we care about money, and how MUCH more important the rest of life IS important. Most choices my wife and I have made minimize money (ie, work 50% time) to maximize time together. If that's greedy, then I'm all for it... Please feel free to critique that last paragraph, I'm sure your warped sense of omniscience will find something wrong somewhere...
