What about the state lottery - they don't SEE others winning so it must be a scam too.

The difference there though is that the state is running them. And in fact winners are quite publicized. In addition it is highly unlikely that they will cheat. There are too many people involved that have no personal stakes in the success of the lottery. Plus they are overseen in many cases by the State Auditors. And the profits just go to the state. Here we have a company that only answers to Darren Little, and he apparently gets a considerable benefit for every dollar they make. There is no oversight into how these games are conducted, who wins and whether there are the kinds of payouts that they say.

It only takes one scandal in any of the gaming companies to bring them all down.

The fact that they have consultants building the web site doesn't imply that they will all remain active in the running of the site. It is more disingenuous of you by far to count them as employees.
