I don't know if that is what he truly believes, or just what he is saying in public given the current market. Remember, these analysts do not usually go outside the current dogma, which right now is to bring techs down to give the oil and other under-performing sectors a chance to recover. Good luck, as I said yesterday you can jawbone a sector down, but you can not bring others up that way. What they have done is to bring those other sectors down even more, and the Russel 2000 is downright drowning. With this "tech correction," you can forget small caps and value plays for the rest of the year, IMO.

Anyway, what he misses is (1) internet time, and (2) with margins of 50% the stock price will be the least of our worries.

<<Bill Miller of Legg Mason>> runs a "value fund" and has caught a
bunch of grief for holding AOL (which at last peek was his largest
holding). He, if I recall correctly, started buying big-time when AOL
was having all its problems a few years back. Needless to say, he had
the best performing fund in 1998. :))
