I went in for a blood test today. Had to wait an hour just to have it drawn. As I was leaving the building I felt something on my arm, looked down and saw blood all the way to my hand. I could have used an electric drill and left a smaller hole than the nurse did with her needle. Hurt too.

Spring is coming, Gaugie. I saw buds on trees last night. Won't be long now. Nicholas hadn't finished his homework when Chris and Ben were ready to go to the Chinese place, so I said I would stay with him and take him with me. We went to the grocery store, there were a lot of beautiful miniature azaleas in pots, I said to Nicholas, "now look there, that would be the perfect Valentines day present for me, don't you think?" And he said, "may I please have a carnation and put it in a jar of ink and see if I can make a black one?"
