All that matters is whether or not the lower and middle-classes are hit by higher taxes. If they aren't, then you can shout yourself hoarse and still not get through to them!

Keep in mind that the person who earns $25K has exactly the same number of votes as the one who earns $1 million! (Now, don't you HATE this idea of "one person, one vote"? ;-) )

And btw, typical middle-class annual income is in the range of $30k to $40k. It is NOT $175k and above, as the hopelessly-out-of-touch Republicans seem to think!
