Thanks for your comments. Just so you know where I am coming from with my comments, I want to tell you a little bit about my situation. I am in my 40's, (and yes I am a man). I have over 25 years of investing experience. During that time I have read and studied a number of books on value investing, growth stock investing, option investing, and speculation. I also like to read books that help me understand demographic impacts on the future. I subscribe to 6 different business related magazines. I have put these studies into practical use. I have started, and am the President of, an investment club. I have been involved in Real Estate investing and I have a well rounded (and a relatively successful) background in business. I have a university education and I currently hold a professional designation as well. I hold stocks in Canadian and U.S. companies that are considered the Bluest of the Blue Chips, and I also feel that I can afford to speculate on companies who have a good upside potential. I enjoy the excitement and potential of being part of growing and new companies. I have also been burned many times, and the list of these losing stocks is a long one. It includes both Blue Chip and Speculative stocks. However, the list of my winners is considerably longer. My success has afforded me the opportunity to leave the corporate world behind and work out of my home. I am in the process of starting a new business, and I plan to start two more once the first is up and running. Because I am at home, I am now able to help my wife grow her new home based business as well. My investments have enabled me to have the quality of life that I have long aspired to. For example, I will here when our children when they get home from school rather than at the office. This is something that I value more than many other things in life. I am very concerned that my investments cannot jeopardize this quality of life that I have now. That is why I believe that Bid.Com is a company that has a good business model, has a strong management team, and is in business with partners who make sense, and who can help them grow. That said, anyone who discounts the potential for a significant drop in the value of this (or any stock) is deluding themselves and needs to take a sober look at their long term investment strategies. Just as I have said before, there is a downside and this stock could drop in value. However I strongly believe that this company has a very good chance of successfully implementing their diversified business plan, and with that success I believe that its investors will realize a significant (and possibly dramatic) increase in the the value of their investment. This may occur sooner rather than later. I also believe that if I wanted to, I could make more money by screwing around with the minds of the more inexperienced investors on these chat lines. However, I want to be able to look at myself in the mirror in the morning and feel that I have treated others fairly. That is why I appreciate good and honest dialogue which is both pro and con. There are many, many companies that will be extremely successful, and most of us here believe that Bid.Com has the potential to be one of them. I hope that we are correct. P.S. - Besides, I want to have a great party with you all!
