Notetice that that was a 4 for 1 dividend. Not the same as a 4 for 1 split. This was recently done with QNET and you better be careful if you are thinking about shorting. If you are short when the div get issued you will owe the div. If those dividend shares are not available to trade you might have a very hard time covering. The action on qnet preceding the dividend was insane. Check it out for a history lesson on a similar situation
