Greg,

Good post, good strategy - though a bit to risky for me. I haven't shorted LGND for quite some time - over a year. I too hold a large "core" position which I accumulated at several severly depressed prices - there's been a few. As I have always felt that I am holding "enough" - these prices have to be real depressed.

But, this is not to say that I don't have a couple of GTC orders just sitting there, occassionally adjusted - sometimes even further out/away. These adjustments depend on the volume/rate of trend. I sold some (one order the other day at $14.5) and missed one. In the meantime, I immediately placed an order to "get back" what I sold at $12. As we seem to be retracing a bit quicker than I anticipated and I am not in any rush (news is out) to add to my position, I will probably tweaked this down to 11.125. To repeat - if filled, good; if not, I don't care - neither up nor down. I am "holding".

Stressless,
Roland

Greg, I'm not sure where you got the idea that I was shorting the stock, but stop spreading these false rumors. What I said was if earning come out worse than expected, which I believe they will, then I expect the stock to go back to the eleven area again. Hey, isn't that where we started before the two drugs were approved! Some breakout.
