I have to agree that Clinton is a career politician and as a such, he's honed his political skills over the years. I would much rather have a career politician who listens to what people have to say and attempts to compromise than to have an ideologue (left, right or other) that follows their ideology, regardless of what his/her constituents have to say. Clinton is often critisized for following the polls too closely. But isn't using the polls a much more democratic approach than sticking to one's ideology regardless of what the voters want???
