Here is a positive spin on the LYCOS takeover: iionline.com And I saw a negative one from Motley Fool which you should be able to find by going to quote.yahoo.com and entering CMGI. Scroll down to read the MF take. Aside from the fact that I am a long term believer in the internet and therefore a long term holder of CMGI (added more at 96 and tried at 86), I am concerned about the psychology of the USA Net deal. The fact that the exchange price was below current LYCOS market price is unsettling. Speculators will take this as a negative,IMHO, and I believe there will be more weakness in the price. Long term I agree with II. Short term, could be bumpy. But I keep trying to bottom fish and sneak in another 100 shares. See ya in 5 years. Marshall
