Doug, You're giving the information revolution a bad name. As for your motivation, and since you seem to appreciate historical perspectives, is there a resurgent Luddite movement that I'm unaware of (since you are neither long nor short BII)?

Dear Dougie, It is funny you bring up TULIP MANIA again! I just attended a Nesbitt Burns Investment Seminar, guest speaker Dr. S. Cooper(Chief Economist, Nesbitt Burns). The same question about TULIP MANIA was presented to Dr. Cooper - and she laughed!!!! Commencing to say that the internet and e-commerce are as real as the railroad was when it was first introduced, just as the railroad changed our lives and the way we do business so too will the internet and e-commerce. Also just as there were nay-sayers then, people such as yourself will be trying to sell us the horse-and-carriage now. Dr Cooper also predicted the current market conditions as they are now, further stating that we are only just beginning a long and very prosperous upswing in the markets.
