I don't know about financial-type seminars, but technical ones in telecommunications (the business I am in) run anywhere from $500 to $1500 or so - like $500 a day.

Tony, seminars can run anywhere from $29.95 to thousands of dollars. Wade Cook charges several thousand, and tries to sell you thousands of dollars more of his junk.

It's tax deductible as well.

Speaking of Wade Crook,

His seminar is tax deductible because the investing seminars are free.
The "financial planning" seminar (brief - which very few go to) is what you actually pay for (of course you can't attend the investing seminars unless you pay for the "financial planning" seminar). Actually this isn't a bad idea: Autopsy of Wall Street - free with financial planning seminar afterwards for $$??.
